Talent is a big word...and a word I don't normally throw around. It usually takes me a while to acknowledge that soemone has innate talent in something...mostly because not every good piece of work comes from talent...at times, its simple luck.

With that in mind, I'd like to introduce (not like anyone actually reads this) a relatively new deviant. With 586 pageviews, 371 comments and 20 pagewatches in a little under 3 weeks, I believe that ~Destroth is without doubt, a talented young artist.

His original style of shooting well lit translucent subjects in the dark using little more than a camera phone (he's now switched to a compact camera, I believe) has proven his ability to compose good pieces without the use of expensive equipment.

Well done. Keep it up.

On a totally unrelated note, I'm trying my hand at shamelessly throwing my art around on the forums in hopes someone might see it and be interested.

I'm curious as to how the community would react to my art...up till now I've never cared much for what others think about my pieces but since I'm working on some design projects now, I think a broader perception of artistic taste in general would help a lot.
